Lights, camera, and live action are coming back to Memorial Park later this summer, when Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat comes to life on stage in front of Memorial Station, 602 Maurer Parkway, on Fri., Aug. 14, at 8pm! It’s the first of two Theater in the Park productions this summer, and as always…it’s free. The local production is cast and directed by In the Light Performing Arts Center in Peculiar.
It’s an irresistible musical based on the “coat of many colors” story of Joseph. The show has only a few spoken lines; it is a family-friendly story, with familiar themes and catchy music that all ages will enjoy.
Mark your calendar, gather the family and grab a chair or blanket and head out to Memorial Park. Concessions also will be available but no coolers please.
